You agree that you are making a non-refundable donation to Whiskers Animal Benevolent League (“Whiskers”) after which you will be provided access to post a personal memorial to Whiskers Memories (the Site) for the loss of a pet and that the posting is subject to certain terms and conditions described herein.  The purpose of the Site is to allow people to honor the memory of a deceased animal companion in a positive, comforting and uplifting way.  

You agree that the proposed postings to the Site will be reviewed, and approved and may be edited by Whiskers before being published and that postings that violate the Terms of Use will be edited or rejected.  Donations will not be refunded if the posting is edited or rejected because it violates the Terms of Use.

You represent, warrant and agree that no materials posted on the Site will violate or infringe upon the rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, or other personal or proprietary rights; or contain libelous, defamatory or otherwise unlawful material.

You agree not to use the Site in any unlawful manner or in any other manner that could damage, disable, overburden or impair the Site.

You agree not to post any content that is harmful, threatening, unlawful, defamatory, infringing, abusive, inflammatory, harassing, vulgar, obscene, fraudulent, invasive of privacy, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate.  Whiskers reserves the right to determine and reject or edit any material that Whiskers may consider inappropriate or objectionable or which restricts or inhibits any person from using or enjoying the Site.

You agree that the Site is available for non-commercial use only and postings by donees may not be used for advertising purposes by the donee. 

You agree that the Site is provided to you on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Whiskers disclaims all responsibility and liability for the availability, permanency, or reliability of the Site, including individual memorial postings.  Whiskers also reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site and/or individual memorial postings with or without notice at any time and without any liability to you.

You agree that the Site is for personal viewing and donating, and that re-publication of the contents of the Site in any form is expressly forbidden without written permission.

You agree that Whiskers makes no representations regarding the content of the memorials posted by donors on the Site and postings do not represent the opinions of Whiskers..

You agree that Whiskers Animal Benevolent League reserves the right to modify the Terms of Use from time to time without notice.

Whiskers Animal Benevolent League is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization registered with the New York State Charities Bureau.  All contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law and go directly to help the animals in our care.
